DIGITAL STOP

Digital Stop is an online alternative youth provision for young people 11-19 years old to virtually engage and explore new interactive activities.

The programme was set up during the Covid-19 pandemic and is currently inactive, awaiting further funding.

We engaged with the young people through the following activities:

  • Online Cooking Class
    (Each participant receives ingredients and recipe box)

  • Youth Football Show

  • Online Quizzes & Games

  • Open Forum Debates

  • Drama Workshops

  • Health & Wellbeing Sessions

  • Employment Support

  • Culture Corner

  • Life Skills: Money Management

  • Exploring Science

  • and more to come…

This programme Supports young people to:

  • Improve social and communication skills 

  • Improve confidence and self-esteem

  • Improve positive outlook by providing something to look forward to, reducing boredom and isolation  

  • Increase happiness and being more positive

  • Increase recognition, understanding and coping mechanisms for mental health and well-being

  • Increase access to information, advice and guidance
